OverDrive allows you to download ebooks and audiobooks from your local library directly onto your PlayBook. Just like you would borrow the physical library materials, you can check out digital materials from local libraries. The books you’ve downloaded will sit on the ‘bookshelf’ within the app. While reading you can adjust the font size and style, adjust the screen brightness, select a white-on-black reading mode, select a sepia-toned background, adjust line spacing and margins and change the orientation (auto-adjust or locked in portrait or landscape).
